Resources Page

Hello all,

It’s been a crazy 2020 and it’s so close to OVER! I know it’s been a big year for most of us whether from wildfires, COVID, elections and riots, or other personal or family dynamics. For us here at Bridges, 2020 has been quite the year. We purchased our vehicle, had it adapted (Big thank you to Ability Center and Suregrip for their help in those things), started our website and are ready to get going for 2021.

Our latest update that Marisa has been working on, is the Resources page you can now view as part of our website. Our goal was to provide a list of possible resources to open up the world of driving rehabilitation a little as it is new to many. We have a page dedicated to health care providers who may have questions about patients or would like more training in how they can address driving concerns in their own practice. We also have a page specific to potential clients or family members in the community who may have questions about what exactly is involved in driving rehabilitation from evaluation to recommendations. Driving is so important to us as a culture and we want everyone to feel empowered with knowledge and resources. As Marisa continues to reach out to different communities across Oregon, she is compiling a list of alternative transportation options or other providers of driving-specific services and will update the resources page when she has organized all of the information. So keep an eye out for that update! Also, if you know of any great resources that might be of value to others, please reach out to us and let us know so we can also share it.

As for the rest, we hope everyone has a safe last few days of 2020 and we wish you health, joy, and safety in the New Year!
